Shedding Problems

My snake started shedding, but his skin was coming off in little pieces. Now he still has skin on the first 4 or 5 inches of his back, but the skin on his stomach came off. There is still skin on his head. How should I get the rest of that skin off? I tried soaking him, letting him slither through a wet towel, and giving him a moist hide.

How humid is the viv ? I believe it is Nanci who has a nice thread about a way to help a partial shed. Using a tub with a wet towel in the bottom. Let them stay in for a while ( 30 min or more, make sure it has a warm end ). Often they will shed completely while crawling around, if not the skin should be loose enough for you to help -- BUT -- be careful !
