Shedding question...Kinda

EmJagsz

cornscornscorns
Well, this isn't your typical shedding question thread. But I recently bought a baby snow corn, and I was just thinking about when he goes into shed.... How will I be able to tell?? Does anyone have pics of their snow in blue? I'm just curious, is all :sidestep:

you will be able to tell. It is obvious and you'll see it when it happens. If you miss it, it won't matter.

I don't have any photo's but I would say the easiest way to tell would be the eyes. Just like an amel they will go from red to pastel pink.

The colour change for mine was very subtle (I've only had one shed but I have a small snow to) it was like a much paler cloudy red verging on a pinkish colour I suppose that lasted 2-3 days and he shed 4 days after.

Like I said only one shed so not a great deal of experience just thought it might help.

It's difficult to tell unless they are deep in blue. At that time their eyes will have a milkyness to them.
