Is it normal for a snake to be unnactive during shedding, OR could it be that he is still digesting from thursday.. but he is about to shed
 
Depends on the snake of course, but I have acouple that will hide for days/weeks until their shed is done...I have a few others that seem as active as usual even during shed.
 
Its not uncommon at all for them to be lethargic and disappear during both sheds and after eating.
