so my girlfriends snake is a pastel... and i know snakes go through a blue period befor they shed... can someone exlpain what the blue period is...... her snake the back half of her looks like its turning blue and its been that way for like 4 days nows..... i dont know if that is the blue period or something is wrong with her snake.... thanks
 
That is perfectly normal. Before the snake sheds it goes through a blue period. It will turn blue for maybe 2-3 days then it will look normal. It should shed soon there after. So your looking at another day or two until it sheds.
 
just wanted to say you were right on.... we went out tonight and she was asleep and when we got home and it was all off in one peice.... so thanks
