Shedding Question...

EmJagsz

cornscornscorns
I have two corn snakes who, last time they shed, were in sync with each other almost. They were only off by a day or two.

One of my snakes is almost in blue at the moment, but the other snake doesn't seem to be showing any signs of shedding. I'm not worried or concerned or anything, I'm just curious to know why he hasn't started yet. I'm aware that hatchlings shed once a month, so he should be due for his shed pretty soon anyway.

Or, maybe I can't tell he's in shed because he's an anery?

What are your thoughts on this?

They're different snakes, they grow at different rates.
It would be interesting to track. See if the one that sheds the most frequently actually grows faster.

a snake sheds his skin when he grows and the old skin gets to small so they probably grow at differend speed and his skin is still big enough to fit his body.
