Shedding.... Should I be worried?

Alright, so my snake entered the blue a few weeks ago. Yes, weeks. His eyes cleared two weeks ago come Sunday. But yet he still has not shed. In most places it's all wrinkly if he's curled up. Anyways, I'm worried that it's taking to long. Should I be, or is this natural? Also, the humidity is 65-68 percent. Any input is appreciated.

Are you sure the shed isn't buried in the aspen, or stuck to the bottom of his water bowl or something? Is he a baby or an adult? It might not hurt to soak him, as in the sticky in the Health section, and see what happens.

Yes, I am positive that it's not hiding somewhere. He still has the dull shades and white head, and as he moves it sort of wrinkles up around him. And thanks, I'll try soaking him.

could be having difficulty getting it off the front of his face.

Are there any objects in the tank aside from the waterbowl which are slightly rough he can rub up against?

Aside from that it may just be slight dehydration, even if the humidity is high enough, if they're dehydrated they'll have a bad shed, are you certain they know where the water bowl is? Stupid question I know but some snakes can be pretty dim when it comes to finding the water bowl.

You could try giving them a quick soak in some luke warm water for a couple minutes which may help start the process.

I've tried the thing from the Health section multiple times now, ut it just doesn't seem to be working. It's probably because he doesn't like to move around a lot once in it (He's very timid). I know that he knows where the water dish is because I have seen him drink from it before, and I've been putting him in it every time I return him to his cage. One of his hides has a rough outside, mainly for the purpose of shedding time. There are two patches on his stomach that the shed has come off of (partially, and only in two small sections), but the rest is still on there. I'm worried, seeing as it's been so long, and he hasn't eaten for a few weeks now, either. Thanks for helping though.

Mine has been having a hard time shedding too. I took her to the vet yesterday and she said to soak her 3 times a day until she sheds for about 10 minutes each. She told me to put her in a little Tupperware container and put the lid on it so that she's forced in there. Obviously you don't fill it all the way up of course. After only a day it does seem to be helping loosen up her skin. However, if yours isn't shedding and isn't eating, maybe it should go to the vet. Mine is still eating at least. Good luck.
