shedding

is it helpful to give snakes a bath in this period or put them in a tupperware container with little water and holes to breathe of course to aid the shedding?

It may or may not be helpful but it definitely isn't going to cause any harm so if you are so inclined go for it. When my snakes are in blue I mist their vivs a couple times a day and make sure that their moist hides are good and humid. If you don't have any humid hides it may be a good time to add one. They are super simple to make and maintain. Different strokes for different folks but what I use is a rubbermaid container with a hole slightly larger than the snake cut into the lid filled with sphagnum moss which I keep moist and change as needed. No doubt you will find what works for you and your snake!

Here's to happy shedding

Personally, I prefer to leave my snakes alone during the shedding time. I do nothing to raise the humidity whatsoever and still get perfect sheds. (I do live in a humid area though.)

If you want to help your snake, try placing a humid hide in his tank. That way he can decide for himself if he wants the extra humidity or not.

From my experience, i will just put the humidity box in the tank, just like Plissken did, so my snake will get in to the humidity box when he needs it :)

Please CMiIW :D

PS : Sorry if my English is bad :)
