my snakes Throught seems to be swollen. she is in the clear after blue stage of shed. is this normal? after the blue stage how long does it take them to shed?
I don't know about a swollen throat -- for that I'd recommend seeing a vet. I can't say that I've ever noticed a swollen throat on any of my snakes, even with regard to shedding.
However, after it looks like my snakes' eyes have cleared up following "going blue," it's usually only a few days to a week at most before they slough it all off completely.
