My 4 month old corn just shed his skin for the 3rd time since I've owned him. there was only a slight bit of his tail tip that remained and a tiny piece of skin on the side of his body the size of a pinhead. I plan to soak him in warm water soon if I see that those pieces are still there in a couple of days.

I just wanted to say a word about Shed-Ease....WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT!!! Matter of fact....I have a story to tell about it. You know....I was in the pet store a few weeks back just browsing for other things to buy for my vivarium...and LO AND BEHOLD....I saw TWO WILD CORN SNAKES at the counter buying a few bottles of Shed Ease!!! A testament to the popularity of this product, for sure!

:D :p

I had the same problem with one of my snakes when it was a hatchling for the first couple of sheds the skin on the tip of his tail stayed on so i just wet my fingers and rubbed it - the skin came right off

Wet paper towels work great. Hold one in your hand and use it to "wipe off" the old skin. There have been many posts of this topic. Use the search function to find other suggestions. Good catch on the old skin. You certainly want to get it off quickly.

And if you really need to you can spray the cage befor they shed. Just to make sure that there shed is good.
