I handled BTS as part of a children's education program at a local zoo,and sometimes holding on to them was like trying to hold a large rat snake with claws. They wriggled and scratched, absolutely SHREDDED my wrists and hands, and of course as an educator, I could only request that the keepers trim their claws. They are cool though, and it would be between one of them and a beardie if I was going to add a new scaly companion.
