...or the dozens of personal attendants hired to take care of someone who doesn't even officially HAVE a job in our government. Has her "people's" salaries combined broke 2 million yet? It was getting close. Glad they could employ those people at taxpayer expense at such high salaries so she can look nice (et cetera) while the tax payers are losing jobs left and right. :(

Always remember, especially those suffering in this economy, that Michelle Obama is the nation's first first lady to add a full-time makeup artist to her traveling entourage.

There are sooooooooo many directions I could go with this.......but I will be a gentleman and not.........just for today......... :laugh:

As a taxpayer, I would, though, pay for 1) a fancy-schmancy designer to keep her out of horribly casual sleeveless summer shifts and bermuda shorts, and 2) an etiquette coach so she'll know not to be groping on HRH's and Imperial Highnesses.
I know that sounds soooo gay, but I mean still, I'm just old-fashioned, and picky about things like that. :p
 
Have you seen images of her from before she "became really famous" and had the artists help? Let's just say that she may be the first one to NEED a full time make-up artist...and the person doing the work to make her look this good is a REAL artist.

Some of the images make it even look like she's had treatment to lighten her skin. Major overhaul, but that could be bad lighting in the older images. I don't care enough to worry about it.
 
At least she has these really pretty $500 tennis shoes to wear when mock volunteering!

I guess for me to blast Michelle on her looks, when the OP is about Obama getting the Peace prize is leaving me a bad taste. This whole post isn't about Obama's wife. It's about what he may have/or have not done to deserve such an honorable prize as the PEACE PRIZE.
I agree he did NOT deserve it. For cripes sake he was only in office for 12 days before he was nominated(has anyone figured out who it was that nominated him?). But to bring Michelle into this, I think is uncalled for.
If you have a problem with Michelle. Then start a thread on her. Let this thread continue on what it's intended purpose be.

Seriouly. We can't all be gorgeous. I'm not, and maybe Michelle is not. KJ, your wife IS a real looker, and intelligent and a lovely person as well, but sometimes people marry each other because they love each other and sometimes for some people, looks aren't a high priority.

But maybe in public life there is such an emphasis on form over content that maybe she felt she needed to hire someone to add some polish?
