Sick Iguana

I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about iguana? My friend's iguana is having issues with his mouth... he tries to stick out his tongue to grab his food, but drops it then throws his head around and rubs his jaws. He also says there's mucous or something at the corner of his mouth. Anyone have any ideas?

Mouth rot? Respiratory infection? All I can say is it sounds like a vet would be a good idea...=/

Hope it's nothing serious!

Sounds like Mouth Rot, but could also be a Respiratory infection and Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD) or all of the above. The Ig needs to be seen by a herp vet ASAP.
