Signs of laying

Hi Everyone,
This is the first time that I have put 2 pairs of snakes together for breeding.( miami phase male- okatee female and snow male - reverse okatee female )
I frist put them together on April 7 2002 and saw immediate action :D . The books that I have read said that the females will be ready to lay about 60 days after mating. Give or take a day.
A week ago I placed each female in her own tank with a nesting box with damp moss, and all other fixtures that will make them happy. They both shed a few days before I placed them in their own tank.
Is there anything that I am missing and are there any signs that I need to look for to know that laying will take place.
Thanks for any input,
Jimmy

I guess that you seem to be set up. But then did you get the incubator ready?
If you haven't I would say that you should set it up as soon as possible so that you can adjust the right tempterature and humidity level in there. The temperature and humidity level can change a lot and not be right (If you are using a hovabator this is even worse......some of the temperature settings in the hovabator and the actual temperature in the device is WAY off. )

Other than that, I would say Good Luck and Really hope to see you soon in the Toronto Reptile Expo!!

Thanks Gregg??
Hey Simon,

I am getting the incubator today. The Lady at the pet store told me that the temp. will be ready within 24 hours. I hope thats right and that I havent waited too long. It is pretty warm in my room though.
Thanks again,
Jimmy C.
