I picked up some silky mice one day when I was looking for a second harem of mice. Had the whites finally sorted out and decided I would like something other than white not that it mattered since a pinky is a pinky is a pinky as they say.
The second harem ended up with a brown male, a white female, and two silky females black and white. The colored mice seem not to be thriving on the lab blocks the way the Rats and other mice are. Any one have any experience with these "long haired" mice? Is their dietary requirements different?
