Sir Killsalot helps himself...

Cuz that's how I roll!
Does it really surprise anyone that my snake is weird? He won't get into the feeding tank to eat. Nope, he takes his food to go...

LOL I have boas that refuse to eat without at least their tail hanging over the edge of the tub.

Is he still as ravernous?

I've got one like that too. I don't quite understand why they want to eat in the most difficult way possible. Silly, isn't it?

That picture cracks me up every time I see it. It's proof of what a jerk he is. He doesn't bite nearly as much as he used to but he always pulls his food out of the feeding tank and smears it on something of mine and then giggles with glee at my horror. He's the equivalent of that kid at the park who kicks sand in your face and then laughs.

LOL! That's hilarious! Does your snake take the mouse out of the tank too?

Gorgeous colors on that one.

This little one prefers her tail wrapped around (and constricting) my finger to eat but it's hard to get pictures of that, so here's some of her doing the 'tub drape'

Butt Muncher Alert! Butt Muncher Alert! Butt Muncher Alert!

Great pictures everyone!

Hendrix is a butt muncher to, most of the time....I guess he figures he'll save the best for last ! LOL!

For a snake that wasn't treated very well prior to you acquiring him, Sir Killsalot looks great! I'm a "snake whisperer"-- sort of the squamatic equivalent of Cesar Millan (Dog Whisperer on Nat Geo channel). So the snakes have to do things MY way. I stuff them into their feeding tubs whether they want to go all the way in or not. :)

My gf officially hates me now because I recently saw a marathon of that show and fell in love. Whenever we make fun of each other I just make the claw and go "chhhh" everytime she opens her mouth until she barely mutters "I hate you", that's submissive enough of a state for me. We have a healthy relationship.

Hah! You have to tell her: "Essercize, discipline, THEN affection-- IN THAT ORDER!" :grin01:

Yeah he's doing a lot better. He used to have pieces of unshed skid still clinging to him but a warm bath and a death wish on my part took care of that pretty easily. Aside from him trying to do me bodily harm, he's a great snake. He eats well and has no health concerns so far. Hope it stays that way.
