Skin of a female ?

First when I saw these two brown attachments on the skin I thought this must come from the male's productive organs. However, when I had a closer look at the skin of one of my females I saw something similar......Is this typical for a female's skin

Although I only have 3 females ('08 and '09s), I've only ever seen that on my males. If I were you, I'd get that snake probed just so you know for sure. Breeders can (and do) make mistakes, so if it is male, hopefully they make it right for you.

I've never seen anything like that on any shed! I've heard of seeing red dots, but that is way beyond dots...

I do not have any plans with this one as he/she is a classic and I have no idea about his/her hets. However, it would be interesting to know what these brown stick-like -things are....

I have no idea what they are, but I had 2 old sheds from my male lying around, so I had a look at them. On one I can definitely see the same thing (perhaps smaller than what's on yours though), but not really on the other, except there is a bit of brown in that area on the second one.

The same thing showed up once on a shed from my female rat snake... And I'm quite sure she's female; she made that very clear when she spontaneously laid eggs last season. That said, I have no idea what it is.. Sorry.
