slow egg laying

My 4 year old Miami Phase is laying about 1 egg a day and is so protective she is damaging them. She does not seem in distress
and even appears hungry. I am going to take her to a replile vet on Saturday unless anyone else has any ideas first. Good news is that butter and stipe eggs look good:confused:

Malcolm,

I just read your post tonight for the first time. Laying only 1 egg per day is way too slow to be normal, from the reading I've been doing and from talking to knowledgable owners.

I think that going to the vet was a wise move. I'm curious to know what the diagnosis at the vet was, and what, if anything, was done?

Best,
Doctor Mike
