My mom found this snake coming up out of the shower drain. Anyone have any idea what it might be?

I'm in Indiana, if that helps any. Mom wasn't too pleased about it, as to her a dead snake is the only good one. But I think she might be changing, as she called me over to come and get it.
It's since eaten a frozen rat pink, must be hungry after all the water, soap, and screaming.
