Totally a newbie. My son is gathering info and I'm watching along with him. I see under most posts 0.1 corn snake.1.0.1 something else. What do these numbers mean? I assume number of that color, age, or something. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

1.0 is the number of male something
0.1 is the number of female something's
0.0.1 is sex is unknown of those animals

So for example if you see 1.2.1 corn snakes. They have 1 boy, 2 girls and 1 snake with unknown sex.

Thanks. Now I can somewhat act like I know a little more than before.
Will keep asking questions. Want to be prepared for new snake when we get one.

You have come to a great place to learn. Feel free to ask away. It is great that your doing research.

When is the normal hatching season? Or do people breed and hatch all year? Looking to find a young or hatchling Okeetee. That is the color my son and I like.
