I notice my corn going blue last thursday (Oct. 18), his colour was milky and pale, his red eyes were clouded over because I couldn't see his pupils. So I left him alone for a week and noticed he was lest active. Hiding for 1 week straight, when he usually comes out at night. Well I checked on him today, and he doesn't appear to be as pale and his eyes are back to normal. I looked all over is viv digging the aspen and couldn't find his shed. I've had my corn for about 2 months. He did not shed his first month with me because he refused to eat for four weeks and now we are going on the second month. I'm getting a little worried, I have also noticed he has a little dry skin on his head.

no worries! They go out of blue a few days before shed. He will shed soon, maybe in a few days or sooner. If it's dry keep misting him (a little, I don't think they need much)
One of my snakes is slow to shed too. He doesn't roam around his viv a lot, I guess. So I try and take him out when he should be shedding, he'll usually do it while he's out. It's pretty cool.

I have the same issue with my corn, so v_various's information has eased some of my concern! My corn was dark and pale with blue eyes last week, but last night, his eyes were clear (but his skin was the same color) and I couldn't find any shed! I guess he's going to start soon.

i had the same thing going on for the past week with Loki, she went blue and her skin darkened about 5 days ago and hid in her hide the whole time and has only just shed tonight.

da'awwwwww it's so cute seeing the new people go through their 'firsts' with their snakes. I just went through all my 'firsts' about a year ago...seems like yesterday...*gets nostalgic*
Actually, now that I think about it I'm still going through 'firsts'. Last night was the first time any of my snakes (it was amel boy) seems to recognize me, he was spazing out when Alice was holding him but just melted and calmed right down when I picked him up. It was so cool! I wanted to come on here and post about but I contained myself, lol.
