Hello everyone,
I would like some advice on a matter. I have a 3 year old male corn called Tango. He has been fine the past year. Due to work i was not able to feed him for 14 days, when i fed him his usual adult mouse everything was kinda fine except beforehand he was very active in his viv, and i mean Very active. I feed live mice since getting frozen here is almost unideal and unrecommended by local fellow snake lovers. I watch every feeding session with my prongs to make sure the feeding goes well. This time my snake has failed to catch the mouse 3 times in a row in his own viv. Finally the mouse was caught in his own house. Tango managed to "finish him off" aka squeeze to death and i left. After the feeding he seemed less active but still more active then what a snake that had just fed should be. A day later i find the corpse of the mouse at the corner of the viv, Tango unintrested. The mouse seems to havent been eaten but i swear he wasnt at the corner the past day. What should i do and does anyone have an idea on why this has happened? Is it because he wants to go and mate? But its not even mating season. Also should i feed him a new mouse?
