In all of the pictures i have seen of corn snakes the heads on them have been quite large, mine is nearly 2 years old and still his head is around the size of my thumbnail (mayby a litlle bigger)

is this normal???

In my experience, the head size of corn snakes is more uniform than the body size. So if 2 different snakes each have the same size head, but the diameter of the body of one is 50% larger than the other, then in a picture it looks like the one has a smaller head.

My snakes head is small compared to her body too. I'm staying at small mice until she catches up with the width of her body. She kind of filled out sideways before ever getting length. In the last month though, she's put on 4"

Ooops

I was going to attach a picture of her.
