Snakes Up For Adoption

MomFor2Gifts

I came across the Colorado Reptile Humane Society's site and found that they do snake adoptions as well as other reptiles. It says you do not have to be in their area, however you do have to fill out an adoption application.

Anyway they have:

1 Yellow Rat Snake

1 Vietnamese Blue Beauty Snake

2 Boa Constrictor

1 Burmese Python

2 Ball Pythons

Their site is http://www.corhs.org/snakes.html

Not sure if anyone is interested but I thought I would list it just in case. I hate to imagine any snake without a forever home.

It's sad to see the pictures, although what that group are doing is fantastic.

I live in Germany, and I've been trying to find a similar group. If anyone knows of one here, please message me!

What a fantastic idea, i didn't know anything like that existed. It's good to see they won't just let anyone adopt either.

That was a good find :)

Whoa, 7-9 adult mice. I'm impressed. (Talking about the rat snake)

It's great what they're doing over there. I'm sure there are some places that won't even take in snakes.

Keeping my fingers it works out

That is awesome, let me know if it works out. I always end up looking for stuff on the internet and come across stuff that is so unrelated, lol. But in this case it was a good unrelated and hopefully someone will be able to adopt now or in the future.

Not sure how many hoops you have to jump through, hopefully not too many, but if there are a lot I am sure it is to make sure the people looking to adopt aren't another owner that will just forget about it when it gets too old, difficult or just gets tired of it, so that could be a good thing.

Good luck and keep me posted. :wavey:
