I think that's one of the best parts about the hatchlings of a mixed clutch...trying to figure out what the parents must be in order to account for all the diversity. Too cool!
My eggs are dimpling, but not pipping yet. My first clutch will be all creamsicles. The next will be be rootbeers, but I'm expecting a little diversity in the clutch. The third clutch is coming from a female I just bought that is gravid. The trouble is that she was exposed to three adult males! However, because of the limited genetic possibilities, I should be able to identify "daddy" by the morphs of the babies.
