Snow!

Yep, we just got a bunch of snow. We had an inch or two early in the week sometime, and then yesterday afternoon got about 4-6 inches. That's about the equivalent of 1-1.5 feet where you are. Twelve inches of snow at one time around here isn't too common. Snow is kind of nice, but it makes getting to class a real beast!

We had a couple of inches last week but it's all gone again. The last 5 days or so were around 2-3 degrees in the day but today dipped back bellow zero again...no precipitation though...it's only a matter of time though...this is Sweden after all!

A foot in the driveway overnight. Let me just say, that when I retire, I'm going to strap a snow shovel to the front end of my car, and head south. The first town I stop in that someone asks "what's that for?" is where I'm moving.

We got some snow about 5 years ago! I think. Honestly, I can't even remember when the last time I saw snow was. We usually get just ice.

we just have a little...its cold here though...been -10 in the morning, i think it was -20 some night as well

Snow is the best when your going to school! SNOW DAY! WOOHOO! I spent the whole day shoveling and playing with my dog in the white fluffy stuff.

4.5 inches here...gorgeous stuff. It got down to 2* F last night, pretty darn cold when your furnace decides that it doesn't want to heat up anymore.

Other than the fact we need a new engine for our 4x4 (anyone have a Toyota 225R for sale?) and our long-ass driveway its not been too much of a problem *knocks feverishly on desk*.

I have to laugh though, they cancel school when its perfectly driveable. When it stays so cold the salt they use around here doesn't work, its easy driving. I tell ya, if Indiana suddenly changed to a more frigid climate, kids around here would never get an education.

A few pictures I took:
