So, I'm a pre-snake newbie

Hallo everyone!! I decided that it's time I finally introduced myself, after having lurked on the forums for a little while. My name is Mickayla, but everyone just calls me Mikki. I'm seventeen, and I am currently snakeless.

I know. It's so sad.

I've wanted a corn snake for quite a while now, and I've always enjoyed reptiles of any sort. So, while my mom and step-dad are still iffy on the whole thing, they say if I pass my latest round of online classes, we can look to maybe getting a corn snake around May or something.

Any breeders in Washington state? lol.

Well, that's all I can think of right now about me. I'd love to meet all of you! Chances are this will be a likely place for all my snakie questions, when I get one of course. ^__^

Thankya Goldtop! Yes, I have heard that Pet stores aren't the best place to go, but I think they're so popular because you can actually see what snake your getting. The only breeder I've seen that's done this is Kathy Love, which is why I'm insanely addicted to checking her sight every few days xD

Oh, grabbed that book a LONG while ago it was read cover to cover and back again. <3

Lol! I don't think I'll be able to get just one.
But don't tell that to my mom...xD

SOZE, I just finished my Geometry course (all I have to do is take the final exam on monday) and all I have left in the way of my courses is a poetry analysis, a compare and contrast essay, and to finish the Scarlet Letter (and of course the final exam on Monday) and then I'm DONE. Can you say, excitement?

The best thing? My stepdad won't be here to stop my mom from letting me get a snake. Lol
