This is not about a dog but when my son was around four he got really sick puking, pooping everywhere. I felt so sorry for him because with every step something came out. Anyway the doc said nothing to eat for 48 hours just ice chips and popsicles (this was a very long time ago around 40 years). Anyway he started getting bette,r at around hour 40 of the no eating we found him in the middle of the dining room table eating anything he could get his hands. It was right before dinner so there was lots of food. I could have killed him (not really) all I could think was we would have to start all over. Nope he was fine.
Dont try this with your dog, my son has proved to have a lead stomach.
 
I honestly think she'd be fine if I gave her a regular bowl of food. She could eat jalapenos for goodness sake. But, I'd rather follow vet orders for another day or two first. Don't need to have her back at the vet because I thought she could handle it.

I wish my stomach was a little stronger. After I get sick, I'll refuse food for two weeks after, which of course makes me feel sick. I'm a big baby when it comes to being ill.
