Sorry to keep asking questions, but all these questions are deciding which partners to get for my existing corns. Hopefully an easier one

If an amel(the breeder i used called it a reverse amel?) and a reverse okeetee are put together what will the offspring be. The program i used says amel x amel=100% amels but which traits would they potentially get? the reverse okeetee white band around saddle or something else?

not sure whats meant by reverse amel?

ideally id love to get the offspring to look similar to this reverse okeetee but cant get hold of another one similarly light

I'm not sure what the breeder meant by reverse amel either. A reverse okeetee is only a selectively bred amel snake. By breeding an amel and a reverse okeetee you would get 100% amels with varying border widths. The white border is what will make an amel a reverse okeetee (a really wide border).

I wouldn't breed a regular amel (no such critter as reverse amel, maybe they meant reverse Okeetee?) with the very nice reverse Okeetee you have, simply because you would be ruining your chances of maintaining that thick white border around the saddles in the babies. To keep that look, you'd need another amel with wide borders. Otherwise you'll get some nice amels with varying thickness to the borders. You would lose much of the appearance.

thanks guys. our local shop got this reverse okeetee with loads of others from the staters and im not sure which breeder to get a female. I would really like to keep this pattern going as its my favourite in my collection

Must keep looking :)

Thanks again :)
