snake momma
Hey all, just a question about moss...
(I feel dumb that this is such a long post about moss! LOL!)
I bought some online back when I ordered some other viv furnishings because it was on sale and seemed really cheap. Thought it would be good to have on hand.
(Of course, it came in a smaller package than I expected, so maybe it wasn't such a deal, but that's OT.)
It's not labeled as "sphagnum moss", but it was the only moss I saw at this on-line pet store and the same that is offered at my local pet shop (my kids were distracting me when I was in there, so I forgot to ask).
It looks very much like what I consider to be moss - big green and brown fibers.
But then I saw a huge package of what was labeled as "sphagnum moss" in the garden section of the hardware store. It was light brown.
OK - so to the point:
Is this unlabeled pet shop moss safe for a corn snake?
Would the hardware store sphagnum moss be acceptable in the future?
Thanks!
