Sphagnum moss

Hi, I haven't posted for a while, but would really appreciate your advice on this.

Mr Ripley had a bitty shed last time, 6 pieces with a bit retained on tail ( which I was able to remove) , so I've decided to get some moss. He is in blue and so I put it in his viv yesterday. It is damp and I have put it in a large bowl and put this on the warm side. Within minutes he was curled up in there. That was at 3.00 pm yesterday.

I checked on him this morning and he was still there and have now just come home from work he's still there. Normally from milky eyes to clear eyes it's 2-3 days then another 2 to shed. Will he stay in there the whole time? Have I put it in too early in the process?

Will he get scale rot? I'm really worried now, but don't want to disturb him as he seems really comfortable !!

He won't get scale rot, don't worry. He'll stay in there as long as he likes. Just remist the moss if it gets dry.

Hi, he's still there ..... I've kept the moss moist. I don't think he's moved since last Sunday. I check on him before I go to work, my partner checks in the day and then I go and see him when I come home from work and before I go to bed. I don't think he's drunk any water or moved from the bowel I have the moss in at all. None of the aspen is disturbed.
Should I be worried 6 days down the line?
