Sphagnum Moss

Home Depot, or any other home improvement store with a garden center. usually you can find it around the orchids or hanging baskets...

I get mine shipped in from vanishing jewels. They specialize in poison dart frogs, and use the stuff for creating habitats. I got a fairly large bale of it for $85 or so, and am still using it 2 1/2 years later. I like it because it's CLEAN! Anything I've found at a garden center or other around here is dirty and dusty stuff.

Thanks for the link, D!

My main problem with finding sphagnum moss at home improvement stores, is a lot of it has fertilizer added to it. I had a bear of a time finding a whole one small bag of it that was "organic", or so it said. So that's another thing you have to look out for, I've found, at least around here.
