I am no expert either but I have to agree with you Plissken, I do believe that that is too young to brumate a snake...(I stand corrected of course)
In any case, here are a few things to check out/try...(speaking from recent experience with non-feeder hatchlings)
Firstly, how often are you handling the snake? Some snakes are very sensitive to handling and what may not seem like too much handling to you, could be stressing the snake out.
Secondly, check your temps.
Where is your tank/Viv set up? Is it in a room where there is a fair ammount of activity, like a bedroom or lounge? It maybe that constant movement and noise is causing the snake to be nervous and thus not feeding.
What size prey is your snake on? I would suggest trying a smaller prey item, just to get them feeding, try live if it does not want to take f/t.
My special trick (worked with BOTH non-feeders I had first time) is to leave them completely alone for a few days. Then put them into a smaller container with some water and the prey item and then put the container in a dark closet. Do this in the early evening. Leave it in the closet without opening it until the next evening at around the same time. You are giving the snake complete darkness and peace and quiet at the same time...
Well, worked for both my non-feeders! lol Now they eat like pigs!!! :grin01: The one female is my healthiest eater!
