Strange behaviour...

I noticed something rather odd that my snake did last night....or maybe its not unusual at all but it's just something I have never noticed...

She (I am not sure if its a male or female but always referred to her as "she") was slithering around in her cage as usual, lifted her tail up slightly, had a poo (I have seen her do this before) but she kept her tail up like a flag pole and continued to slither around like that for about 5-10mins... Was she just cleaning her cloaca? Is it a way of showing their sexual maturity or readiness to mate (leaving a scent trail or something...lol) if so, does this mean she's a girl or a boy? Or is it possible that something is irritating her and I must figure out what is bugging her and sort it out? She is about 80cms now (if not bigger) and between 1.5yrs - 2yrs old.

Perhaps I should mention that she is very blue at the moment, ready to shed either today or tomorrow I should think, I don't know if that is at all relevant... Perhaps its not unusual behaviour at all, I've just never seen her do it before.... :santa:
