strange corn behavior/appearance

Just paper shreds in a plastic food container. :(. No wonders it was so scared. We thought that but didn't know they could flatten there heads quite so flat. Poor baby.
 
Not ideal conditions. But well fed and right temps. At night they may put him somewhere different as was in a reptile pet store.
