We Can't All Be Smart.
hum i don't really no how to describe this but my corn snake seams to be eating and acting strange while eating.

i put the food in a bowl and put the snake in the bowl like i normally do and the snake seams to try rip the pink apart. today she ripped it in half and was eating the insides of the pink for like 20 minits she didn't even swallow the pink she just had it in her mouth?

has anyone else experiences this before?

also when i picked up the snake she tyred to take a chunk out of my skin she has never done this before and i just was wondering could it be something to do with the mice or stress?

sorry if this is not exlpained very well i cant really exlpain it very well.

I notice that you didn't get a timely reply to this question.

I have never observed this before or even heard of this behavior in a snake. Perhaps it is so odd that no one has observed it and that is why no else has replied either.

Have you been able to get any information since you posted a month ago?

vampire corn?

nah just kidding, but that's sort of a cool behavior, i know i love strange behaviors as long as they seem to not be signs of sickness
