Strange honduran milk snake behaviour?

For some reason every time my honduran eats he digests it in his moss box. All my other snakes generally digest in their warm hides. He is fine its not causing any problems I was just wondering why he does this? :)

Unless I'm mistaken, Milks prefer it a bit on the cooler side... quite a few botch their incubation thinking that the temperature should be like most colubrids'.
Also, the box itself might be the reason- is there a hide in the warmer side?

He/She has a hide in the warmer end and a hide in the cooler end as well as the moss box which is in the cooler end. there is also a wooden platform area i the middle back of the vivarium which has silk ivy over it so can also be used as a hiding area. I was always told that hondurans actually prefer it warmer that most colubrids. I have to say today it has been quite a warm day in my home so the cool end temps have been 2-3c higher and he/she has been out and about this evening, quite unusual, we don't normally see any sign of it.
