striped corn in a petsmart

I'm new as a snakeowner and don't know that much about the different morphs but when I saw a striped corn at a petsmart today I thought that was unusual. I don't have pics but the background on the hatchling was light grayish...almost silver... and the stripe pattern seemed pretty strong almost the entire length. I didn't know there were stripes that were common enough to be found in a pet shop?
Is that unusual or are they more common that I've been thinking?

I have yet to see Any type of stripe in a pet store. I wonder where they got it from?? Maybe someone was just trying to get rid of the last of their '07s and just sold all as a big group and it was just part of that??
 
I've seen ghost and anery stripes at a local pet smart a couple times and the little store down the road from me has a hypo stripe.
 
Great. Thanks you guys. Just when I thought I could finally go into a Petco without holding, and of course purchasing, a corn snake; you tell me this. I've never seen them before at any pet stores in this neck of the woods. I would guess that the idea that they were someone's '07s sounds like a good one.
Too bad you didn't have a camera in hand.
 
It was a hatchling...definately not an '07. There were actually two, one had a strong solid stripe the others stripe wasn't solid...was "broken" in several spots. I'll try to get by there and get photos...if they're still there.

Wow. That is just cool. I'd have to have one, since I have no stripes yet. Let us know if you get pics. I would love to see them.
 
I'm thinking about buying them both but honestly they just don't fit into my plans for the future. I guess that's shouldn't stop me from buying them, eh?

My very favorite corn is my snow, Zen, who is from Petco. I was going to buy cat food, and thought I would "just look". Now I'm in love with her. She wasn't in my plans for the future. Now my future has changed, and looking better than ever, snake wise at least.
I'm not the one to talk you out of it if you have the space and money. Let us know please.
 
a Petco in Redlands had Anery Motleys for $39 awhile back..
but no money at the time..
