Corn Snake Mama
Hi guys! Just wondering about moisture and aspen shavings, like during shed when the snake needs a bit more humidity is it safe to mist the viv with aspen shavings in there? And after do I need to change the shavings or will they just dry out and be fine?

Thanks!

I know that aspen is a very absorbent material, and that if you have a substitute heating thing, it will help in evaporation, I think that if you just don't pour a bottle of water in there it should be fine. But I 'm pretty new. I mist my aspen bedding quite often as the humidity in my house is at most, 30%

Absolutely! They shouldn't get so wet that it's a problem. I occasionally run the humidifier during Atlas' blue/shed period and I've never had any issues.
