Hey all,

Well I'm patching up a 30 gal that someone gave to me a year ago. It's a reptile tank that just need a patch in the screen and a re-seal on the corners. Anyway the dimensions are 36"x19"x some-odd high. I am trying to find a reasonable stand that will hold the 30g on top and a 15 gal underneath it.

I have these black metal storage racks that I keep my 20Ls on and fit perfect, but the dimensions of the 30g indicate that it will be balancing on the tips of the metal poles if I try to get the same stand. The only thing remotely close that I could find for under $100 was a stand at IKEA that I would have to bracket to the wall and its for $75...

Does anyone have any suggestions??? (Other than make my own; I could try but I really want this new butter corn in Feb and I don't want to have to wait because of a time-consuming DIY project...)
 
Try looking at a pet store in the aquarium section. I got a nice wooden stand there once.
 
I was thinking the same thing. Some of the stands have a cabinet underneath with doors, but you could leave the doors off when you put it together and the 15 gallon should fit in there. Maybe Craigslist has a used one you can buy cheaply.
