Here some pictures from breeding Het Sunkissed Ice X Het Sunkissed Ice .
There were normals , aneries in the clutch but thes 3 are best ones .
I think
1= Sunkissed Ice ( or at least Ice het Sunkissed)
2= Anery Sunkissed
3=(normal) Ice (watch te black "defect" in the middle )

What do you think , let me/us know .

I would agree with Jim for now, but it would be nice to see it without a pinky in it's mouth, lol... Number 2 looks like a Sunkissed Anery for sure. And, darn you Mark, you're always about a year or two ahead of me on the Lava morphs, lol!

Wait for next year :crazy02: anery ditluted x amellava hets might be ready to breed .

I didn't check the gender on nr1 , but if it is a male , he can meet a girlie from what I think it is an Opalsunkissed . If I hatch all Sunkisseds , they are both homozygous SK , if 50% one of them is ( who ?? ) ; if 25% , they both are hets .
I see a difference on color and pattern on 1 vs 3 , that's for sure .

Aaaaaggggghhhh! I made hets for Dilute Ice Motley last year :smash:
but I didn't use Amel in mine, that would be too confusing!

Don't forget though, Male and Female Ice look different too, at least in my clutches...

To be honest, all three don't look like Sunkissed to me...

I have a Kastanie hatchling which has got the same headpattern like the Anery has. And my Kastanie is sure not a Sunkissed. ^^

I also have a normal with this head pattern - also, not a Sunkissed.

I have to agree with you..
I know you;re a lot more experienced than me with sunkissed marc, so I guess you are more likely to be right than me, but I dont see sunkissed at all there.
Then again, I did hatch some infernos this year, they were definate inferno at hatch, but one now looks like a bright amel... although I know this is what they can look like anyway, I guess it doesnt make it any easier lol.
good luck on those.. see you in hamm

Nice clutch!

I saw some of these black 'defect's' in my clutches this year too, not sure which ones though... Just like some balck was spilled half way over 2 saddles.

I think these animals illustrate one of the newer issues with sunkissed.....the head pattern. The more I get outbred combos the more I am seeing sunkissed without the definitive head pattern. They are certainly sunkissed but the tell tale head pattern is not to the full extent which makes telling them apart all the more difficult. The anery, for example, does not appear to have that head pattern but the rest of the body looks very much like what I would expect a sunkissed to be. Perhaps Marc is correct and maybe they are het sunkissed but I do see so signs they may be homo sunkissed as well.
