Sunkissed Tessera Babies!!

We do not know their SG status. We DO know that of a clutch of 13 eggs, we produced 10 snakes homo for sunkissed and none of them are stargazers. This does not prove or disprove anything, but it is what we know right now.

We know that my male tessera was an unknown het for sunkissed. We have traced his sunkissed trait back to a wild caught okeetee female. This is as far as we can go with his side of the family.

The mother of these babies is a Sunkissed Okeetee belonging to Sharon (Tsiriane here). I know she is a Love line "Sunkissed Okeetee", but that's as far as I know. I will have to check with Sharon to see if she is ACR registered, as I am not familiar enough with the ACR to find Sharon's snakes.

Its all we can do.. Trace it as far as we can and try to draw the best conclusions we can...

Regards.. Tim of T and J

Agreed. I keep detailed records of my breedings and pedigrees as far back as I can go. I plan on testing my lines and proving out the SG status as time goes on. Producing the Sunkissed Tessera was actually an accident, as we had no idea that my tessera boy was het SK. We planned to produce hets, and while they grew up we would test both parents for SG. Murphy had other plans....so here we are. Not complaining in any way, though!
