Switching from Live to F/t

Hello all. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I just brought home a new Snow Corn last Saturday. It is doing great, very active. The set is up is great for it. He had been fed a small live pinky the Thrusday before I brought him home. What I was wanting to know is..I plan on trying to feed him Thursday. I do want to start give him f/t pinks, but should I go ahead and feed him a live one this time and wean him from live ones. I'm not sure about how to go about this. Any advice and tips is needed. Do you think it would be a good idea if I just tried a f/t first and if he refuses go on to live?

I would try to feed the f/t and see how that goes. If he eats great:D If he turns it down go with the live. When he is ready to eat two pinks in one meal you can change over then. You can do this by feeding a live one first and then offering a f/t one right after. They are usually so excited they don't notice the change.

Thank you so much for the help. There are two reasons I want to change over, one is because I dont trust live food with him, and two the only pet stores that sell live ones is an hour away. Thanks again.
