Switching to fuzzies/2 pinkies?

Okay so,

I've had my Teemo now for about a month and a half. and when I got her she was an estimated 2 months old. She's still really small - I'd say about 17 inches in length now. I've been feeding her a pinky every 6 days since I got her and I'm trying to decide when I should switch to 2 pinkies at a time soon, or when to switch to fuzzies.

I'm waiting on a scale so I can weigh her if the weight helps.

Thanks!

The lump is starting to fit in quite nicely as her girth has increased. I'd say it still pokes out a bit, but she's eating so much faster now is why I ask if I should switch to 2 and if so, should I still do a feeding a week?

It should be. I used to obsessively weigh my babies and also each out of a bag of pinks and sort them into bags! Now I just do it by eye and switch up when the feeding lump looks smaller.

Until you get the scale a good way to decide is on how long her bulge stays from a meal. If one pink stays as a bulge in her for at least 24-48 hours then she's still fine on her current diet. If it's dissappearing before that you are safe to bump up. My corn is turning 4 months old tomorrow and she just started a 2 pink diet 10 days ago and she's taken two feedings without any trouble. Unless yours is underweight there should be no problems at all with a 2 pink diet.

my girl is about 7 months and only 19g. i thought that she was growing quickly. my girls is still on single large pinks. perhaps i need to rethink my regimen, but i think my girl just has a fast metabolism like her owner.

mine was about 4-5 months old when i switched him to fuzzies. he was about 50grams

and here I was starting to worry that Rapunzel was packing on the pounds a little to quickly :p. Seriously Camp I think you take the cake when it comes to most aggressive feeder.

Thanks everyone! This was really helpful. Lately, her bump has gone down pretty well within about 30 hours, so I think next week will be the first 2 pink feed.

Switching to smaller fuzzies?
