tank size

I would upgrade, general rule is that if your snake is longer than the length and depth combined, you need to upgrade

Example, the 10 gallon is 20" x 10" x 12"...
20"+10" is 30", so you should upgrade from a 10 gallon when your snake is 30" long, Make sense?

Hey Mash,

Go to your smallest bathroom and ask yourself if you would like to live in it or would you like to live in the living room. That will be your snakes answer.

Love the Fatman

Haha, bigger is better. If i were to do it over, i'd buy the 40 gallon from the get go and just put more hides in it. But i now have a 10 gallon so i might as well use it for the babies!

pet shop has 20 gallons for $40 bucks, I'll go for it, then use the 10 gallon for a baby brearded dragon they have on sale!

I'd use a 20 gallon long, it's a little more practical than the tall one. Are you planning on getting a zilla? After you buy the tank and the lid with clips, you might already have as much invested as you would a zilla... It may be worth looking into it?
