Tank size

I still have not aquired a corn, I want to have everything set up first. I have another question :)). Is a 55 gallon tank (48"/12"/18") big enough for a full grown Corn? I have a 10 gallon tank that I am planning on starting it off in and then eventually moving it into the bigger tank. I'm a little worried that the bigger tank is not wide enough, What do you think?

I'm also planning on setting it up with some branches for it to climb on, so we would be taking advantage of the vertical space in addition to the width and length of the tank.
Thanks,
Lucille

Well I know most people usually keep there older corns in 20 gal longs... but Im sure the 55 gallon would work alot better... I wouldnt think that the width would be that needed... the length is usually the one that is needed the most... so the corn can stretch out its whole body length without trouble...

A 55 is the same width as a 20 long, so you're good to go there. I'd start with a smaller tank and then move up later unless you are purchasing an adult or subadult. Most likely once you get your first one you are going to want another and another and another, so take that into consideration too. A 20 long is probably your best purchase.
