DumzyDaFish

Uhhhm, Pineapples.
So, decided im going to get a yearling corn snake, i have a Nat Geo 50 gal reptile sanctuary that i had a bearded dragon in (he died of old age) i washed the tank out really well, but im wondering, can i use the 50 gal for a yearling? I heard that corns get stressed and wont eat if they are in too big of a space..

There is really no Viv/tank to big for a yearling corn snake. Its all in the setup. If you fill it with A LOT of hiding places so the snake doesn't feel over exposed and you can properly heat it then the 50 is ok to use. The bigger the tank means more bedding, accessories, etc. to buy and clean though.
I like small tubs for hatchlings because it makes them feel more secure but a yearling should be less stressed in its environment.
