you guys have been a great help but i hav yet another ? I just bought a 10 gallon aquarium from walmart for my corn that i am about to buy. is an aquarium the same as a vivarium? is it ok to house a snake AND have a heatpad underneath? :shrugs:

thanx

Yes it is the same thing pretty much. I use a 10 gallon. And you SHOULD use a Under Tank Heater! That is the best thing to use for heat! Make sure the top is secure to prevent escape!

Make sure you have a screen lid on top with latches, or some such, not the aquarium lid. Corns can climb anywhere. Also, the aquarium has to have airflow underneath when using an under the tank heater. Check some of the threads here, and the FAQ sections for lots of good advice.
