Tap water alright for the snakes? Or should I use bottled water? Not that bottled water would be expensive.
Just wondering. I'm currently using tap water, chlorine...You know...

There have been some recent threads on this subject. Most people use bottled water or they allow their tap water to sit for approx. 24 hrs before using it. Myself, my guy is 5 yrs old and most of that was on tap water and he seems to be pretty dang healthy.

That said, I have recently changed him over to bottled. :)

Hi Dustin,
We use tap water as well but we use Zoo Med ReptiSafe water conditioner. You should be able to purchase it at any PetCo, PetSmart or Pet Quarters. It "Removes cloramines, chlorine, and toxic ammonia. Detoxifies nitrates. Helps in hydrating new animals"

Follow the mixing directions on the bottle for the amount of water you need. PJ makes a bunch in advance a gallon at a time (32 drops per gallon of water). It works really well and we have never had a problem.
Hope this helps,
Jay & PJ
