Title says most of it. Is a tegu or some other type of terrestrial lizard? It's @ 2 feet long. My sister found it over in Miami and out of caution I told her it was a tegu and to stay away from it. It seems sick and or injured and she's calling animal control. Poor thing will most likely be euthenized, but there are too many kids that play nearby.

It most certainly looks like a savannah monitor. Poor thing :( I'm glad it was removed though, we don't need more non-natives running about!
