Currently I have heat cables controlled by Zilla and ZooMed thermostats. I just started monitoring them with Exoterra digital thermometers, because they store the minimum and maximum temps. First, are the Exoterras reliable? That first because everything else is based on if they are.
Anyway. Apparently it's good that I switched. While I only see the temps when they're close to right, the min/max records from under 80 to over 90 everyday. If the thermometers are right, I need to correct this.
A Herpstat Pro is already on my list for April. Would that work well with the heat cable or would FlexWatt be a better choice? Anything other suggestions? I'm kind of tired of products that only half work. So what's the best choice to actually hit and maintain the correct temps?
Thanks.
